Metroark PA-52 is specially
designed for printing ink
additive. This is a
mar-resistance additive designed
to have a very wide range of
compatibility with organic
resins. The main feature of this
additive is in reducing surface
friction of coating by imparting
a high degree of slip. The
scratch-resistance of the
coating improves significantly
due to the highly slippery and
smooth surface formed by the
coating formulated with Metroark
PA-52.
Metroark PA-52 is supplied in a
combustible solvent. Following
precautions should be observed
while with this paint additive.
Keep away from
heat or open
flame
Use only with
adequate
ventilation
Avoid prolonged
breathing vapour
Avoid prolonged
or repeated skin
contact

How to use
Amount Needed
Effects of the additive vary
widely upon the coating
formulation. Suggested
concentrations range from 0.05
to 0.5 %. Increasing the amount
of additive increases the
fineness of the texture grain in
the coating. Careful evaluation
on a trial basis should always
precede production scale usage
Blending
the Additive
If
dilution of the additive Metroark PA-52 is desired – as when adding an
extremely small amount – it may be diluted with aromatic solvents such as
xylene or toluene, mineral spirits or ketones.
